OUR GREEN COMMITMENT

The impact hotel renovations have on the environment can no longer be ignored, and Continental Contractors is taking steps to become an industry leader in environmentally friendly practices. Continental has appointed an Environmental Officer and has established its own set of green initiatives. This is an ever-changing and growing list of priorities, but initial commitments include:
• LEED certification for each project manager
• Implementation of web-based project management
   tools to not only reduce the use of paper, but be more
   efficient in the bidding and construction processes
• Project evaluation that includes job specific solutions
   to reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible.

Every project is different, and each geographic location presents its own challenges and regulations. Continental is committed to researching recycling and disposal opportunities.

Also, with our proximity to the Chesapeake Bay, Continental continues to give generously to our local environmental charities.
